Portugal’s team was established in 1921 and played its first official international match against Spain on December 18, 1921. The Portugal National Football Team Squad is the winner of the 2016 UEFA European Championship and the 2019 and 2025 UEFA Nations League.
Portugal’s national football team is Portugal’s men’s football team, governed by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). It has never won the FIFA World Cup in history, but has come in third place once in 1996.
