Premier League clubs eye €50m move for Camavinga
Real Madrid will listen to offers for Eduardo Camavinga this summer, and Premier League clubs are showing interest in him, according to Radio Marca.
Los Blancos are poised to consider any offer north of €50 million for the 23-year-old.
He joined Madrid in 2021 following a stellar breakout campaign at Rennes and has been a key player for the 15-time European champions.
Camavinga played a central role as Madrid clinched two La Liga titles, two Champions League titles and two Spanish Super Cup titles.
He has also helped win two Copa del Rey titles, two FIFA Club World Cup titles and two UEFA Super Cup titles.
Camavinga has shown versatility, playing in positions such as left-back and right-wing, despite publicly stating that he prefers to operate as a holding midfielder.
He has not progressed to the level many expected, but position changes have not helped his cause.
There is still time for him to develop into the world-class midfielder Madrid expect him to be.
However, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City could use a midfielder of his ilk if Madrid decide to cash in.
The Merseyside outfit currently have Ryan Gravenberch in a holding role, even though he is better suited to playing further forward.
Signing Camavinga would strengthen Liverpool’s weak midfield and allow Gravenberch to take up his natural position.
The same goes for Manchester United. The Red Devils are preparing to lose Casemiro on a free transfer this summer and could turn to Camavinga to replace him.
Manchester City could also enter the race, with Rodri struggling to hit his pre-injury form.
