Top 10 Premier League players out of contract this summer
Premier League clubs will be looking to shuffle their pack once the summer transfer window opens, and there are a few gems that could be picked up without paying a dime.
With a handful of interesting names set to be available on the free transfer market, read on as we explore the top ten Premier League players out of contract this summer.
Bernardo Silva – Manchester City
Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has been heavily linked with a big-money exit over the past few years, with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain among interested clubs.
However, the Cityzens have always made it clear that he will only be allowed to leave if their financial demands are met.
With potential suitors opting against meeting Man City’s outrageous asking price, Silva decided to see out his contract and choose his next destination.
Rumour has it that Barcelona are still interested in the ex-AS Monaco star, who is bound to embark on a new adventure away from the Premier League this summer.
Ibrahima Konate – Liverpool

One would think the Trent Alexander-Arnold saga would have taught Liverpool a harsh lesson about leaving contract talks until the last minute.
But the reigning champions have somehow found themselves in a similar situation with Ibrahima Konate.
Liverpool have been exploring ways to tie Konate down to a new deal, but several negotiations have failed to produce positive results.
Konate wants his new deal to reflect his contribution to Liverpool’s success over the years, but the club are opting for performance-related terms.

With no breakthrough in sight, Konate could be the next Liverpool star to leave Anfield on a free transfer, although he could be joined by club legend Andrew Robertson.
Andrew Robertson – Liverpool

Signed from Hull City in one of the best bargain deals in Premier League history, Robertson’s chapter at Liverpool is rapidly approaching an end.
The Scottish legend was heavily linked with a move to Atletico Madrid last summer, with Liverpool keen to cash in while his stock was still high.
But a move never materialised, paving the way for Robertson to see out his nine-year stay at Anfield.
The 31-year-old has racked up more than 350 appearances for Liverpool over the past nine years, winning several trophies, including two Premier League titles and a Champions League.
Robertson will undoubtedly leave the club as one of the most successful players in its history.
John Stones – Manchester City

Manchester City stalwart John Stones is set to end his trophy-laden, decade-long spell at the Etihad Stadium this summer.
The Englishman’s contract runs out at the end of the season, and all indications point to another Man City cult hero calling time on a fruitful spell at the club.
Stones joined Man City from Everton in 2016 and helped establish the Cityzens as a force to be reckoned with in English football.
He won six Premier League titles and was part of the team that won the English holy grail four times in a row between 2020/21 and 2023/24.

He has made nearly 300 appearances for Man City and also won the treble in 2022/23.
Harry Maguire – Manchester United

Harry Maguire could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer if the club opts against handing him a new contract.
The 32-year-old has been in excellent form for the Red Devils since Michael Carrick stepped in as interim manager to replace Ruben Amorim.
Carrick has previously hinted that he wants Maguire to sign a new contract, while Diogo Dalot has also backed the Englishman to extend his stay in Manchester.
However, any new deal for Maguire will likely depend on whether he’s willing to take a pay cut.
Casemiro – Manchester United

Unlike Maguire, Casemiro has already confirmed that he will leave United when his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The legendary Brazilian midfielder has endured a topsy-turvy spell at United but will leave Old Trafford as a fan favourite.
Casemiro has enjoyed four years at United. He has made over 150 appearances for the club so far, racking up 23 goals and 14 assists.
Casemiro played a major role in helping United win the EFL Cup in 2023 after scoring a header in the final against Newcastle United.
He was also part of the team that won the FA Cup in 2024.
Marcos Senesi – Bournemouth

Bournemouth centre-back Marcos Senesi has become one of the most coveted defenders in Europe as he approaches the end of his contract at Vitality Stadium.
Manager Andoni Iraola previously claimed that Senesi’s situation is “still open”, suggesting that the club could yet convince him to pen a new deal.
Unless the Cherries perform a U-turn, Senesi will be a free agent this summer, and the Argentine centre-back isn’t short on potential suitors.
Serie A duo Juventus and AS Roma have expressed interest, while Chelsea are also said to be monitoring his situation closely.
Harry Wilson – Fulham

Fulham are facing a serious battle to keep Harry Wilson beyond this summer, with the midfielder poised to become a free agent at the end of the season.
However, Fulham manager Marco Silva claims the club “won’t give up” on keeping Wilson and will do everything in their power to ensure he remains at Craven Cottage.
Everton have already signalled their interest in the Welsh winger, who has been a key player for Fulham this season.
Wilson has bagged nine goals and six assists in 27 Premier League games so far.
Callum Wilson – West Ham United

Callum Wilson was supposed to provide the spark West Ham United desperately needed at the top end of the pitch when he joined on a one-year contract last summer.
However, his situation changed when West Ham decided to part ways with Graham Potter and bring in Nuno Espirito Santo in the middle of a relegation battle.
Nuno has already hinted that Wilson, who has managed just five goals in 24 Premier League games, could leave the club this summer.
His position has shifted following the arrivals of Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente and Valentin Castellanos from Lazio.
Ben Davies – Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur’s longest-serving player could finally leave the club this summer, with Ben Davies set to become a free agent when his contract runs out.
Last year, Spurs triggered an automatic one-year contract extension clause in his contract to keep him at the club until this summer.
However, injuries have heavily disrupted his campaign. The 32-year-old had a second surgery in January to fix a broken ankle, which effectively ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Davies has been at Tottenham for 12 years, racking up 363 appearances for the club.
