Who’s replacing Javier Mascherano at Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami? More about Guillermo Hoyos
Lionel Messi and Inter Miami are left without a coach for what is coming next. Javier Mascherano, surprisingly, resigned from his position and Guillermo Hoyos, who has had spells at several clubs in Latin America as well as FC Barcelona in youth development, will remain in charge of the first team.
Hoyos was once a professional football player, and as a coach he was in charge of the Bolivia national team. He also managed in both Cyprus and Greece in the European continent.
More changes are taking place at the Herons in addition to the coach’s departure. As announced through the official Inter Miami website, Chief Soccer Officer Alberto Marrero assumes, as of today, the duties of sporting director.
