He was born on 5 February 1992 and Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Brazilian Club Santos and the Brazil national team.

In 2009, Neymar Jr was named the Player of the Tournament, and he has been the top scorer in the Brazilian Cup with 11 goals. In the 2021 Copa América, Neymar were named the player of the tournament along with Messi.

He started the 2013-14 English Premier League season with FC Barcelona. Neymar is the only Brazilian soccer player to have graced the cover of TIME magazine. He is the 9th most expensive purchase in the club’s history. In August 2017, Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, a transaction worth €222 million.

In his first season, Neymar played 41 matches and scored 15 goals. He had nine in La Liga, one in the Cup, four in the Champions League, and one in the Spanish Super Cup.

He is the only Brazilian soccer player to have graced the cover of TIME magazine. Neymar scored his 100th professional goal on his 20th birthday in 2012 and finished the year with a career-best total of 43.

On 2 April 2017, Neymar scored his 100th goal for Barcelona. He will become the best player in the world in the coming 2 or 3 seasons. The player’s salary is set at $74 million over five years, and he was the most marketable athlete in the world during the 2012-13 season.
