The Spain national football team represents the country in men’s football and claimed their only FIFA World Cup victory in 2010. The Spain football team is managed by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the official governing body of the sport in Spain. The Spanish Football Team Squad comes under the UEFA Confederation of the European continent.

In 2010 and 2012, the Spanish team established itself as the top international side in world football. Spain has produced some talented footballers in the history of football, like David de Gea, Iker Casillas, Yamal, Sergio Ramos, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, David Silva, Cesc Fabregas, and Fernando Torres.

Luis de la Fuente is the current head coach and also a former player of the Spanish Football Team, who played as a goalkeeper for the Spanish team.

The team has qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 2022 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2024, and the 2024 Olympic Football Tournament in Paris.

Spain Football Team Roster

The team debuted in 1920 around the Summer Olympics. They have qualified in a total of 16 of 21 FIFA World Cup tournaments. The Team won the FIFA World Cup Title in 2010 and won 3 continental titles.

Spain is the first European team in FIFA history to win a FIFA World Cup outside of Europe. The team holds an undefeated record for a record-equalling 35 consecutive matches. Brazil is the only team that shares records with the team.

Spain does not have a home ground for the team, but major qualifying matches are usually played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. Sergio Ramos was one of the most successful captains and players in the history of Spain.

He won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship in 2008 and 2012.
